A Glamorous Affair = A Great Afternoon

Last Saturday I packed up my wares and headed north of the river to take part in the fabulous Glamorous Affair market in The Library bar, Islington. The place was packed to the rafters with amazing crafters and vintage sellers and even had the super talented Pincurls and Pout on hand to provide punters with the perfect vintage look. Here are a few snapshots of the day:

Embroidered Wall Hoops - Stitch Your Soul

Fascinators - Kate's Fascinators
Tote Bag - Laura Laura
Jewellery - Girl From Jupiter
Yours Truly - Di Does Vintage

Cushions - Kelly Wink Design
Make Your Own Kits - The Craftmakery

Vintage China - Meadowsweet

As you can see, there was a great mix of sellers! The next market is on June 16, from 12 - 5pm at The Library 235 Upper Street, Islington, London N1 1RU. Why not pop along, as well as amazing stalls the bar is offering 2 for 1 on martinis!

Hello May...

A pinch and a punch first for the first of the month and all that jazz for May is here! Hopefully this will mean sunnier skies and warmer weather - please let it mean this,  I don't know about you but I am fed up of the continual rain, a little sun would be lovely!

Well what does May hold in store for Di Does Vintage? Exciting new markets and fairs is what!

On May 12th I will be staying close to home for the Vintage Affair at The Bickley  in Chislehurst, Kent.  There will be great stalls, vintage hairstylists and makeovers, classic cars and a performance by The Three Belles. Check out their Facebook page for more info.

On May 13th I will be attending the Wonder Hill pop-up market at Keston Lodge, Upper Street Islington - this is always a great event, packed to the rafters with great sellers and beaming smiles.

Finally, on May 19th I will be heading back to Islington for the Glamorous Affair, Craft and Vintage Market at The Library Bar, Upper Street. This is a new one for me and I can't wait!

All in all a busy month, just the way I like it!

Thanks for reading, I hope May has lots of fun in store for you all.

Have a Wonderful Time at Wonder Hill Market This Saturday!

Still thinking of what to do this Saturday? Well why not head down to the The Miller on Snowsfield  Road, London Bridge for the monthly Wonder Hill Market. It's the friendliest, most colourful fair in the whole of London town and is definitely worth a day out.

I will be there selling my vintage wares and there will be a whole host of fantastic designer makers and vintage sellers to peruse, swoon and buy from. Whilst there don't forget to head over to the lovely cake ladies - their Oreo cupcakes are definitely worth a taste - love them!

See you there lovelies!
